Two words for two weeks

May be, I am getting this habbit of delaying things. Again I missed last week’s word and so here is the post with two words together, for last week and this week!

Like last time, this time too both the words are form S’ wordlist, as I am going through it. Both are them, I feel, are different, like you will definitely remeber once you know them –

1. Skulduggery

The word may sound a bit heavy, but its meaning is very simple, it means dishonest behaviour, deception, even simple – cheating. Now it makes me wonder why do we need such a heavy word when we have so many simple words to describe the thing?? Umm…may be for the effect….maybe… πŸ™‚

2. Slapdash

Again, it simply means – haphazard, careless, sloppy, untidy. But just think the effect when you say – “You do the work in so slapdash manner…” πŸ˜‰

Do use the words in your conversation and let me know what people react when they hear it! πŸ˜‰
Do share any such kind of words if you know, they are really funny, aren’t they?
